Boycotts cut both ways. Our company, for example is suggesting to clients to avoid holding events in LA, where they just voted to boycott doing business with Arizona companies. Our company has clients in AZ, CA, FL, and NY, etc.

Nonsense Terry, Look at those closures: Kansas City, Detroit, etc. There are a number of cities closing a quarter or more of their schools, and they all have one thing in common. All of them have seen enrollment drop 25 to 50% in the last 20 years as the last of the boomers got out of K-12.

26 weeks is fine under normal economic conditions. In a current economy like we are now in, extending for about 2 years makes sense.

Greetings all, Well, I'm al little late into this, but have to agree with most posters. It is truly a joke that MSNBC and most other major news sources think this is news, and worse, that it's positive news.

To Michael, you really think these are intentional. I'd love to know why? BTW, they are penalized. That tiny little spill will cost that company probably $100,000,000, (chump change compared to Exxon Valdez, of course), before every government agency gets done fining them.

The fees are onerous, and illogical Online retailers, get charged higher rates than local, get less fraud protection than local retailers
